Fireworks and Live Music
South Orange County will display one of the best fireworks extravaganzas around on the Fourth of July. Spend a day at the beach and stay to see the fireworks. Be sure to bring a personal FM radio and enjoy listening to the patriotic music that will accompany the display. Local radio station 88.5 FM will synchronize the fireworks to captivating tunes. The show at 8:45 p.m. Come early as large crowds are expected.
Beautiful San Clemente is hosting its annual fireworks display at the San Clemente Pier. Fireworks will be visible from many of the hilltops and beaches around the San Clemente area. Entertainment also includes live shows and games. The show begins at 9:00 p.m. There will also be an SC Ocean Festival Fundraiser. For the best seats, arrive early.
Celebrate Independence Day 70’s style at Crown Valley Community Park in Laguna Niguel. Enjoy live music at the amphitheater with Mirage. (Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band) Enjoy amazing food and dessert from food and dessert trucks. Bring low chairs and blankets to enhance your enjoyment. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. After the concert, head on over to Laguna Niguel Regional Park to see the Fireworks over the lake.
Cruising
Cruise Newport Beach offers a spectacular Fourth of July cruise. The first hour of the cruise, enjoy cruising along magnificent Newport Harbor. There will be hundreds of other boats cruising the harbor, celebrating the day. The boat will then glide along Del Mar and also Laguna Beach. Watch the waters along the way. It’s possible to spot a whale or a dolphin. Once the sun goes down, the finale starts. Witness mesmerizing fireworks light the night sky. It will be an event to remember. The cruise starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
Hornblower Cruise and Events is hosting a July 4th yacht cruise. Sail under spectacular fireworks in the night sky as you enjoy cruising Marina Del Rey. This package includes a glass of champagne as you board, complimentary coffee, tea, and water. A DJ will be on board for dancing the night away. Delicious American fare from seafood to BBQ will be served along with unforgettable desserts. The cruise will last for 3 hours and will board at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m. The boat will depart from Fisherman’s Village Marina.
